Our tour begins in style, in the spectacular setting of Sydney. Our 5* accommodation is in the historic Rocks area and all our rooms have a stunning view of the City. From Sydney we will take a 3 day / 2 night tour of the Hunter Valley. To really appreciate the flavour of New South Wales, our tour highlights include a lavish seafood lunch on the beach, a cruise of the Harbour and a tour of the world famous Fish Markets with a cookery demonstration as well as numerous produce and wine samplings.
South Australia is home to many major wine producers and is also a renowned centre of excellence for produce such as cheeses, pâté, fruits and jams. We will enjoy a full day out in the Barossa as well as an exclusive 2 day tour of ‘eco-friendly’ Kangaroo Island where the range of superb produce will appeal to the most discerning food enthusiast!
We finish in the state of Victoria where our 3 nights stay in the heart of the sophisticated city of Melbourne is punctuated by a night in the beautiful Yarra Valley.

Departure
May is winter down under, so warmer clothing is required although there’s no need to bring the winter woollies! During the day smart / casual light cotton clothing with a light rain coat. Due to the laid-back atmosphere in Australia, there is no need to dress formally for dinner, however we would not recommend gentlemen wearing shorts or open shoes to any of the restaurants we include in the tour.
The choice of stopover options is almost limitless and depends on which airline you choose to fly with. We will be happy to advise you regarding flights and hotels. Please contact us for suggestions of hotels and tours to other regions of Australia. For example the Great Barrier Reef, the Red Centre, Northern Territories and Western Australia are all easily accessible from Melbourne.
