The Global Gourmet Concept
These tours were born from our love of travelling and our love of eating! We felt there was a niche in the market for escorted luxury holidays with the emphasis on experiencing great food and drink. We believe that our customers will appreciate travelling with like-minded companions on a flexible, independent basis and being escorted by a Global Gourmet Tours representative but will definitely not want to be herded around! We want to make sure that all the restaurants and other outlets we are using are of the finest quality; therefore we reserve the right to alter specific venues, should they fall below the exacting standards required on a Global Gourmet Tour.

Group Size and Tour Price
Each tour will operate with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 guests. Each tour has a price guide. If each tour reaches the minimum number of 10 guests, then the tour will operate at the published price. Should the tour fail to attract the minimum number by 6 weeks prior to departure we will either offer the tour with modifications or at a supplement, in which case all parties must agree, or we reserve the right to cancel the tour, in which case you will receive a full refund of any monies paid.

Insurance
Global Gourmet Tours Limited requires you to have adequate travel insurance to cover you on your holiday. We can arrange insurance for you, please contact us for a quotation. If you have your own insurance, we require you to advise us of the name of your insurers and your policy number.

Passport and Visa Requirements
A full passport is required by British subjects for all holidays in this brochure, and this should be valid for six months after the date of your scheduled return home. Each tour page gives visa requirements for British passport holders. If you are not a British national other regulations may apply and you should check with us for details. Sometimes visa requirements change, therefore we will send up-to-date information with your departure information, approximately 3 weeks prior to departure. Where we become aware of changes to regulations, we will notify you if we are able. Providing we have used our best efforts to advise you of requirements, or assist you in obtaining visas, we cannot be held responsible for mistakes by embassies, third parties, sudden changes to regulations or actions of immigration officials that are beyond our control.

Health Requirements
Please use this information as a guideline. Currently there are no compulsory health requirements for any of our tours unless you are arriving within 6 days of leaving a Yellow Fever infected zone. Malaria protection is recommended for tours that include India, Vietnam and Thailand.
Up to date information will be sent out with your documents and departure instructions 3 weeks prior to departure.

How to Book
Please contact us to check availability on your chosen departure. We will usually hold an option for you for 7 days. Please let us know if you are considering, or if you require, flight or room upgrades at this stage and we will calculate your total tour cost to include these supplements. Once you have an option held, please complete the booking form, sign and send to us with the appropriate remittance. Deposit payment is 10% of the holiday cost, plus full insurance premium, if required. On receipt of your booking form and deposit payment, we will send out your confirmation. Balance payment will be due 8 weeks prior to departure. Should you book within 8 weeks of departure, full payment will be required upon confirmation.

Tips for completing your booking form.
• Ensure your names are advised exactly as they appear in your passports.
• Fill in your passport details and check that your passport is valid for 6 months beyond your stay.
• Please supply any special dietary requirements or other special requests.
• If you are not taking Global Gourmet Holiday Insurance please supply details of the name of your insurer and your policy number.
• Please remember to sign the booking form to indicate that you have read and agree to abide by the booking conditions.
• Please supply a telephone contact for the day of departure and an emergency contact whilst overseas.
• Joining information would be useful for us. Please advise how you intend to get to the departure point.
